The Generation Equality Forum (GEF) is a global multi-stakeholder gathering that brings together gender equality advocates from different sectors of society, including governments, civil society, private sector, academics, artists, youth actors, and social influencers. The Forum will take place this year, commencing in Mexico from 29-31 March and culminating in Paris in June.
United Nations (UN) Women have launched the Generation Equality Forum Public Conversation Platform – a collaborative online space where people from all corners from the world and all sectors of society can join together to work towards achieving gender equality.
Within the web-platform, you’ll be able to find information on the GEF, how to register for the events in Mexico and Paris, and learn about Action Coalitions. The platform offers an exciting opportunity for participants to mobilise and be part of UN activity, sharing their ideas for the actions that they want their governments, corporations and others to take to achieve gender equality.

Once signed up, members can join in with various discussion boards and contribute to the development of the outcomes of the Generation Equality Forum. By participating in the conversations across this platform, anyone and everyone is able to have their voices heard, which is essential for the advancement of women’s rights.
