A Letter to Malala

In a week that has seen a joint win for  Malala Yousafzai and Kailash
Satyarthi in this year’s Nobel Peace Prize. According to a committee press release they were honoured ‘for their
struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right
of all children to education’.

The story goes that Malala Yousafzai was in her chemistry class
in Birmingham, England, when she heard news of her win – a fitting environment for one who’s true mission is that of championing education for children. Malala steadfastly finished her studies before emabarking on preparations for a forthcoming press conference with all eyes firmly set on the young 17 year old.
