On December 10th we celebrate International Human Rights Day, and every year Soroptimists engage in different ways to use human rights to improve the lives and status of women and girls worldwide.  This year, the Soroptimist focus is using education and leadership to improve maternal health by increasing access to skilled birth attendants.  You can be a part of this worldwide movement by supporting the December 10th Appeal, locally taking part in our Day of Action on the 10th through a virtual or actual flash mob, or by using SI materials and recommended readings to raise awareness.  SI is also using some fun social media tools so don’t forget to engage in our global conversation.  Use the links below to learn more!
