Soroptimists from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, Sl International President Ann Garvie and SI Europe President Ulla Madsen, will be joining representatives of 200 different women’s organisations at a four-day conference entitled Nordic Forum – New Action on Women’s Rights in Malmö

, Sweden.

Marking the 20th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, the Forum will focus on women’s rights through a series of seminars, debates and exhibitions for an estimated 15,000 participants.

On 14th June, Soroptimists from Nordic countries will be holding a joint seminar with the participation of SI President Ann Garvie and SIE President Ulla Madsen. They will also be running an exhibition stand to rasie awareness of Soroptimist International and the work Soroptimists do for women and girls around the world throughout the four days.
