"I am
so grateful to have received the scholarship to attend to the CSW60. It was my
dream to go to the United Nations and participate, so my dream came
through. Thanks a lot to the SISWP federation.

It is really worthwhile to be at CSW60. I have
gained knowledge about how NGOs connect together in networking to raise their
voice to the government. My club which is SI Erdenet is looking into violence
against woman and child and I attended a number of sessions about this issue. Now
I have got ideas to share about this with my club members and other clubs in
Mongolia.

SI Erdenet works with a disability
children`s center so I have learned more about their rights through learning
about Human Rights and how they should be used. In Mongolia such children are
really left out from the social life. There are no special bathrooms or ramps out
in public. Also there is no suitable public transport for them. They are
not given their rights in Mongolia. The sessions I attended will enable me to
speak out on behalf of these children.

Also I
have met other club members from different federations. So it was great
challenge for me to get know what other clubs are doing and how they work in
their clubs. I have stayed with Carolyn Hudson and Dianne Lockwood, which was good as it
enabled me to learn more about Soroptimism. My club is only four years old and we
need more experience and to learn more about our organization; how
it works and what our priorities are.  Now
I have learned from other clubs and from CSW60.

It has
been a really valuable experience for me and for my club. I will share what I
have learned with my club and other clubs in Mongolia. I am happy being as a Soroptimist".
