Congratulations to Hilary Ratcliffe and Anusha Santhirasthipam on their appointment as Co-Directors of International Programme for SI. For the forthcoming biennium, SI has decided to appoint two International Programme Directors to progress SI’s strategic plan. The review panel, including representatives from each Federation, felt that this was the best approach to continue the level of growth and progress the current International Programme Director, Dawn Marie Lemonds, and the Assistant International Programme Director, Margaret Cook, have achieved. SI is not appointing an Assistant for these two years. Each Co-Director will have a very specific remit to carry out her roles and responsibilities and we are all very excited to have these two competent and engaging women to take on the challenge!
Both Anusha and Hilary have substantial experience at SI level: Anusha is SISWP’s representative on the Constitution & Resolutions Committee and Hilary currently serves SI as SIGBI Federation Programme Director. With their considerable individual strengths and complementary skills, SI is confident that they will forge a highly successful partnership to promote and develop SI’s programme work in the forthcoming biennium.
For those of you attending Convention, we are tentatively scheduling two one-hour sessions with Hilary and Anusha so that you can meet them, ask questions, and share your wishes and thoughts on SI’s International Programme work. Hilary and Anusha will officially begin their term at Convention.
