Soroptimist International (SI) President, Maureen Maguire and SI Immediate Past President, Sharon Fisher, are delighted to announce that delegate registration for the Soroptimist International 2023 Dublin convention will open on Monday 5 September 2022.

The theme of the Convention is ‘Challenge the Future’ and will bring together speakers from across the globe – from all five of our Federations:

• Soroptimist International Africa Federation
• Soroptimist International of the Americas
• Soroptimist International of Europe
• Soroptimist International of Great Britain & Ireland
• Soroptimist International of the South East Asia Pacific

The Convention programme will focus on the SI vision and mission to create a world where women and girls will achieve their individual and collective potential, realise aspirations, and have an equal voice in creating strong, peaceful communities worldwide. Soroptimists transform the lives and status of women and girls through education, empowerment, and enabling opportunities. SI will showcase our work for women and girls through plenary sessions, parallel workshops, and the wonderful poster competition results and workshops.

There is an exciting social programme in the evenings including a Friendship Evening, a Convention Dinner and even an opportunity to take a steam train ride or visit the EPIC centre to learn about Ireland’s immigration history. You will be able to explore the city’s many cultural highlights on foot, by tram, taxi or train!  When you register you will see the many and varied pre and post Convention tours which our Committee and Conference Organiser have planned, to give you a chance to explore the beautiful country of Ireland.

This is your chance to meet old friends, make new ones and we do hope many non Soroptimists will join us to help improve the world we live in. We look forward to meeting you all in Dublin from 27 to 29 July 2023.
