An open letter

Dear President Michelle Bachelet

It is my privilege and pleasure to forward congratulations and best wishes on behalf of 76,000 Soroptimists from 133 countries to you on the occasion of your designation as a UN Honorary Gender Champion.

Your tireless efforts in promoting full equality, inclusion and participation of women, and your passion for dignity and peace have lead the way, and invigorated and encouraged those of us on the same journey.  Thank you for the valuable initiatives you have instigated and the progress you have led. We are grateful and inspired.
