governments need to take when agreeing the Financing for Development agenda.

To empower women and girls, and
realise their human rights, we need more than legislation. International
agreements, without good policies to implement them, mean very little in
practice. Therefore, it is vital that Financing for Development, and the methods
used to implement policies underpin the achievement of gender equality. This will be agreed in Addis Ababa, 13 – 16 July 2015, where governments will
meet for the Third International Conference on Financing for Development.
