SI’s UN Rep, Yoko Komori Olson, attended a briefing run by the Department of Public Information (DPI) yesterday. As part of the briefing, they showed a film made during the last DPI NGO conference which was held in Australia last September.

SI sent a full delegation, including International President Elect Alice Wells. Alice features in this film, at 2:40 and again towards the end, sharing Soroptimist International’s vision.

DPI is a great opportunity for SI to network with other NGOs, to learn from best practice examples and to share successes. This is a fantastic film which captures what DPI/NGO is all about. SI’s preparations are well underway to take part in DPI/NGO 2011 in Bonn, September 3rd – 5th.
