SI President Maureen Maguire is delighted to share news that SI is recruiting a Soroptimist to be appointed as the SI Representative to The Commonwealth Organisation. This is a position for a volunteer Soroptimist who should have easy access to London via bus or train, as there may be occasions when a meeting will take place on a face-to-face basis rather than online. The role is for a period of 2 years commencing on 01 October 2022.

An exciting opportunity, this is a new role that aims to grow the SI sphere of influence. The appointed person will collaborate with like-minded organisations, pursuing leadership opportunities and will participate in Commonwealth activity and events.   Soroptimist International is an Accredited Organisation of The Commonwealth, where we have membership in 35 of the 54 Commonwealth Countries.

Interviews will take place by Zoom between 08 -15 August 2022. Your appointment will be ratified by the SI Board at the September Board meeting.
